Champagne Logistics was started in 1996, by Rick Champagne. We are a relatively young
company, focused entirely on Logistics and Supply Chain Management services. Our headquarters is in
Phoenix, Arizona and we have full service operations in Boston, Massachusetts, Raleigh, North Carolina,
Houston, Texas plus satellite locations in Denver, Colorado and Tampa, Florida. Also, as an agent for
Specialized Transportation, Inc., we are linked to over 500 additional warehouses strategically
located throughout the United States and Canada. Champagne Logistics vision statement,

Rick Champagne
Rick began his career in the transportation industry in 1977, as a commissioned
salesperson for a Mayflower Van Lines agent in New Hampshire, primarily selling household relocation
services. During his tenure there, he learned how critical it was to develop long term relationships
with customers by striving to meet all their transportation needs. As a result of his diligent efforts,
he quickly grew to become one of Mayflower´s top sales producers in the country. In 1989, he
decided to relocate to a warmer climate, and joined Atlantic NorthAmerican in their Phoenix, Arizona
branch. While working at Atlantic, he expanded his experience to include High Value Products distribution
activity. Taking on this additional type of service, enabled him to offer a wider variety of services to
his customers. In 1996, he decided to start his own company, and opened up Champagne Logistics. Since
then, Champagne Logistics has risen to be one of STI´s (formerly northAmerican Logistics) top producing
agents with their headquarters in Tempe, Arizona and full service operations in Boston, Massachusetts,
Houston, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina.
As president of Champagne Logistics, Rick sets the standards by which his company
operates. His unyielding commitment to quality and customer service transcends through the organization,
making Champagne Logistics, a truly customer focused company.
Chris Bozer
Chris Bozer began his career with Atlantic North American in 1996 as a commissioned
salesperson. In 1997, he joined Champagne North American as General Manager. During his first year at
Champagne North American, the company achieved a ranking amongst the top ten largest agents within North
American Van Lines High Value Products division. Chris is actively involved in the daily operations of all
Champagne Logistics locations and is primarily responsible for Finance & Accounting and managing the Customer Service
Team. His philosophy is simple, "do it right for our customers, the first time and every time".
Dan Duplessis
Dan has been with Champagne Logistics since April 2002. As the COO, he has been involved
in developing Operations, Sales, and the IT infrastructure of Champagne Logistics, catering to
the Supply Chain Management of High Value Product customers.
Previous to this position, Dan spent 14 years at EMC Corporation in Finance, Sales, and Worldwide
Distribution. While at EMC Corporation, Dan lead an international team that implemented the Oracle
distribution modules and designed worldwide business practices. His experience includes strategies
for vendor managed inventories, hub distribution, merge in transit, inventory management and
control, and product lifecycle and reuse.
Dan is a graduate of Bentley College with a BS in Finance.
Dave Kaple
Dave joined Champagne Logistics in August
of 2004 as Vice President of Business Development. He comes to the company with an extensive background
in all aspects of Business Development in the Transportation and Logistics industry. He spent 17 years
with northAmerican Van Lines in a number of key roles with the most recent being Vice President of
Business Development for the Logistics division. He is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BS
in Management.
Dave´s business philosophy is very simple, "strive to develop a lifetime relationship with
customers". He and his business development team are focused on achieving that objective by making
sure that they add value for their customers in the services they provide.
Tom Duplessis
Tom Duplessis joined Champagne Logistics in April of 2005 as Vice President of Finance.
Prior to joining Champagne Logistics, he spent five years working for Laidlaw Transportation as an Accounting Manager until 2000,
when he joined the New Boston Fund, Inc. as a Senior Analyst working in the Commercial Real Estate Investments group.
Tom is a graduate of North Adams State with a BS in Finance. Tom is based in our Boston, MA branch and has overall responsibility
for all accounting, banking and finance functions at Champagne Logistics.
Chad Bell
Chad joined Champagne Logistics in April of 2006 as the General Manager for our corporate office
in Tempe Arizona. Chad started his career in Transportation and Logistics in 1990 with Direct Transit, Inc.
Chad has served in a variety of roles in both Accounting and Operations.
Chad most recently managed four High Value Products Distribution Facilities in Phoenix Arizona for North American Van Lines.
Chad also served in the U.S. Army for eight years culminating as a Platoon Sergeant.
He trained in and conducted combat operations in several locations throughout the world. Upon completion of his military service,
Chad was awarded the "Meritorious Service Medal" for all of his accomplishments. His philosophy is simple, "there is no substitute for operational excellence."
Sean Mawn
Sean Mawn joined Champagne Logistics in September of
2003 as Manager of the Office & Industrial Division. Sean began his transportation career with North American
Van Lines in 1992 at the Boston Distribution Center. Sean´s primary responsibilities are managing Champagne
Logistics Office and Industrial Division, along with new customer development. Sean is also actively involved with
the day to day operation of Champagne Logistics Massachusetts facility. Sean´s team has been successful in
managing corporate relocations for numerous fortune 500 companies on both a local and national scale basis. His
philosophy is simple, "do whatever it takes to please the customer".
Bill Cumings
Bill Cumings began his career with Champagne
Logistics in September of 2004 working in local operations and airfreight. He has 8 years of previous
experience in transportation operations management and customer service. Bill now heads up the airfreight
department for Champagne and is aspiring to grow and develop this area of our business. Bill believes in
efficiency through organization, attention to detail, and being proactive.
Tammy Sweet
Tammy began her career in the logistics in 1984, working in a variety of capacities ranging from
customer service, fleet management and business development since then. Currently, she manages the customer service team
for the Phoenix branch which includes managing our largest customer, EMC, and their finished goods distribution. She has
managed large customer programs such as IBM, Intel and Honeywell during her career and enjoys the challenge of providing
a consistent, quality of service on every transaction we handle for her customers.
Trisha Kutach
Trisha Kutach began her career in the
transportation industry in 1992 with a Bekins Van Lines agency. In 1996, she joined NorthAmerican Van Lines
working in the High Value Products Division for a local Houston based agent. Trisha joined Champagne
Logistics´ team in March, 2005 as the Manager of Logistics Coordinators in the Houston office.
Trisha´s philosophy is "treat each customer like they are the only customer you have."
Trisha likes to focus her team on building lasting relationships with our customers.
